Sometimes it is not ideal to be outside looking for Pokémon, yet you still want to play Pokémon GO, catch as many Pokémon as you can and unlock new achievements.
This need has created numerous hacks aimed at allowing you to play the game even when you don't have time to be running around looking for Pokémon.
One such hack is the Cydia Impactor. If you don't yet know what it is or how to use it to get ahead on Pokémon GO, keep reading to find out.
Created by Jay Freeman, Cydia Impactor is a multifunctional tool for Windows, Mac and Linux that can be used to easily install IPA files on iOS devices and APK files on Android devices.
It is also able to exploit a number of Android "Master Key" vulnerabilities to further manipulate the Android system.
Apps that you install on your iOS device are signed for 7 days with a free developer account associated with your Apple ID on a free account.
Paid accounts get a signed certificate for up to a year. Cydia Impactor has been useful in allowing users to perform semi-untethered jailbreaks on iOS devices since it is used to side-load the IPAs that you need to jailbreak your iPhone.
To install Poke Go++ iOS Hack using Cydia Impactor, you will need the Cydia Impactor and Poke Go++ r123 (0.151.0). Once you have downloaded both, follow these steps to install the Poke Go++ hack on your iOS device;
Step 1: Extract Cydia Impactor and install it on your PC.
Step 2: Take a second to make sure that you have installed iTunes on tour computer and that you are logged into iTunes using the same ID as on your iPhone.
Step 3: Launch iTunes (check to make sure that you are logged in) and then connect the iPhone to the computer.
Step 4: Now open the Cydia Impactor and you should see your device in the drop-down menu.
Step 5: Drag and drop the Poké Go++ IPA file into Cydia Impactor. When prompted to confirm your iTunes account, just enter the details requested.
Step 6: Wait a moment while Cydia Impactor signs the IPA files on your iPhone so that the device doesn't reject the app. Once the process is complete and the app is installed on your device, open the app and continue to use it.
Cydia Impactor is a still useful tool you can rely on, but the modified Pokémon GO ++ is not a safe way to spoof Pokémon GO anymore.
In April 2018, Niantic banned a number of people for using Poke Go ++ and although the app made a comeback in later years, Niantic is currently suing Poke Go ++ for infringement of Intellectual Property.
So, instead of using the Cydia Impactor Pokémon GO method, you can rely on the alternative method mentioned below.
If you don't want to risk getting banned for using Poke Go ++, consider choosing MockGo. This is an iPhone GPS spoofer that allows you to change the location on your iOS device in a single click.
It is also one of the best ways to simulate GPS movement along a specified path in a customized speed.
Follow these simple steps to use MockGo to simulate GPS movement;
Step 1: Download and install MockGo and launch it.
Step 2: Connect the iPhone to the computer using its original USB cable.
Step 3: In the map that appears on the screen, choose the multi-stop mode.
Step 4: Then you'll need to choose the different spots that will make up your simulated route. You can use the slider at the bottom to select the speed that you want to use.
Step 5: Once all the spots are selected, click on "Move Here" to begin the simulated movement.
1. Is Cydia Impactor Safe to Use?
Cydia Impactor is a very safe app, and even though it asks for your Apple ID credentials for login, it doesn't store them anywhere.
2. Will Cydia Impactor Jailbreak My Phone?
While Cydia Impactor can be used to jailbreak your phone, it's not necessary to do so in order to install third-party apps.
3. Any Alternatives to Cydia Impactor?
Cydia Impactor has plenty of alternatives and some of the most known include:
The closest app to Cydia Impactor is AltDeploy as it has almost identical interface and very similar features.
However, Super Impactor is also a great option since it allows you to effortlessly install an unlimited number of apps on your iOS device without jailbreaking it.
While the Cydia Impactor itself may not be a bad tool to have around, Poke Go++ has proven to be a less than reliable solution for most users.
The very fact that Niantic can detect its activities and ban users who play the game using this hacked version is an indication that it may not be a good idea to use it.
Fortunately, we have presented you with a solution that Niantic is less likely to detect since it is not an app that you have to install on your device. Try MockGo and let us know what you think.
